Working at the interface of knowledge, infrastructure and the public

Since 2013, I founded and led the Open Science Lab at TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology. Founded and run it. (See also mine). (See also my Academic CV according to DFG standards.) I also work as a consultant and am involved in science communication, for example through interviews and lectures.
I especially support organizations from the fields research, libraries, cultural memory, and politics. These organizations are increasingly confronted with questions of open science, digital resilience and social participation.
My work combines analytical depth, practical experience and a strong understanding of institutional contexts. I'm available for lectures, workshops, consulting tasks and cooperation projects in the national and international environment.
Presentations
I regularly participate actively in conferences, workshops and public events. My presentations are conceptually sound, also accessible to a lay audience and tailored to the respective context of the event.
Typical formats

- Panel discussions and moderated discussions
- Keynote lectures for workshops or retreats
Selected topics
- The Future of Libraries and Knowledge Institutions
- Open science and research infrastructures

Cooperation and projects
I am interested in collaborative projects that explore new forms of knowledge production, dissemination and management. These include:
- Collaborative research and concept development
- Pilot projects and experimental formats
- Editorial or curatorial cooperation
I value collaborations that combine intellectual openness, institutional relevance and social impact.
